Does islam allow a woman to join politics?

Answer:

Allah Says in the Quran: …..Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard (their chastity, their husband’s property and honor, etc.)QURAN[4:34]

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah When Allah's Messenger (saws) was asked which woman was best, he (saws) replied, "The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a (lawful) command, and does not go against his wishes regarding her person or property by doing anything of which he disapproves." TIRMIDHI[3272]

Islam does not prohibit a woman from entering the field of ‘politics’ if she wishes to do so, provided she does not compromise or neglect the obligatory duties and responsibilities which Islam has laid upon her. And Allah alone knows the best

What does islam say, if someone breaks into someones facebook account, or any other account, to view his secret messages?

Answer:

Allah Says in the Quran:

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: and spy not on each other nor speak ill of each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay ye would abhor it...but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-Returning Most Merciful. QURAN[49:12]

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Prophet (saws) said: 'He who sees the (personal) letter of his brother without his permission, sees Hell-fire!' ABU-DAWOOD[Book 8 : Hadith 1480]

Thus from the above guidance of Allah and His Messenger (pbuh), it is prohibited for a believer to break into any ones account to spy on or to read anyone’s private messages with out his/her permission. And Allah alone knows the best.

Weather Reports

Answer:

Allah says in the Quran: Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah Alone. He it is who sends down the rain, and He Alone knows what is taking shape in the wombs of the mothers. No living being knows what he will earn the next day, nor does any know in what land he is to die! Verily Allah is the All Knowing, Wise. QURAN[31:34]

The Allah creator of the universe has knowledge of every thing that exists in this universe, and Allah is in control of every thing. It is Allah who has blessed us with knowledge, intelligence and through the use of that knowledge & intelligence we humans have created many things that are helpful to us.
thus If one uses some scientific tools with knowledge, and through that knowledge tries to predict the weather for the coming days, there is absolutely no harm in such prediction. The person is only using the knowledge that Allah has bestowed upon him, and with the tools of his trade available to him.

The harm is when a man with out knowledge tries to outgrow his status by predicting some events in the future! Such a person is a confirmed liar, as he has absolutely no knowledge and is saying something from his own whims, fancy, conjecture and guess-work. To believe in the false predictions of such liars is a manifestation of the heinous crime of ‘shirk’!. And Allah alone knows the best.

Guide me regarding of making a ring of forefinger and thumb in an At-tahiyaat...is it compulsory....

Answer:

Fiqh-us-Sunnah [ 1.157 ] One should sit for the tashahud and place his hands in the following manner:

-1- Ibn 'Umar reported that when the Prophet sat for the tashahud, he would place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand upon his right knee, and he would form a ring like (fifty-three) and point with his index finger. In another narration it is reported, "He would close his hand and point with his index finger." SAHIH MUSLIM [Book 004, Number 1203]

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muslim ibn Abi Maryam that AIi ibn Abd ar-Rahman al-Muawi said, "Abdullah ibn Umar saw me playing with some small pebbles in the prayer. When I finished he forbade me, saying, 'Do as the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did.' I said, 'What did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, do?' He said, 'When he sat in the prayer, he placed his right hand on his right thigh and he closed his fist and pointed his index finger, and he placed his left hand on his left thigh. That is what he used to do.' " Malik muwatta[ Book 3 : Hadith 3.13.51 ]

-2- Wa'il ibn Hajr reported that the Prophet would place his left palm on his left thigh and knee. He would place the end of his right elbow upon his right thigh and would then close his right hand, forming a circle. In another narration it states, "He would make a circle with his middle finger and thumb and point with his index finger. Then he would raise his finger, and (Wa'il) saw him moving it to make supplications." (Related by Ahmad.)

-3- Reported az-Zubair, "When the Prophet sat for tashahud, he would place his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh. He would point with his middle finger, and would not look beyond his pointing." (Related by Ahmad, Muslim and anNasa'i.) This hadith shows that one is to place the right hand on the right thigh without closing the hand (making a fist), and that he is not to look beyond his pointing. The preceding three hadith are all authentic, and one may act by any of them.

Thus keeping the hand in these three ways is from Sunnah & a believer can follow any one, as they all belong to the Sunnah of our beloved prophet Mohammad (pbuh).

1. closing hand (I.e. making fist)& forming a ring

2. making a circle with middle finger and thumb(I.e. making ring by thumb & the finger next to index finger) and point with his index finger

3. Not making of a circle or a fist i.e. keeping hand in normal position. And Allah alone knows the best.

Between Fajar prayer and sunrise, can we offer the missed two rakaat sunnat or should we offer them only after sunrise?

Answer:

It is forbidden to pray after the Morning Prayer until the sunrise and from the sunrise until the sun has completely risen to the length of a spear above the horizon, and when the sun is at its meridian until it moves slightly to the west, and after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets.

‘Uqbah ibn ‘Aamir said: “There were the times at which the Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) forbade us to pray or to bury our dead: when the sun has clearly started to rise until it is fully risen, when it is directly overhead at midday until it has passed its zenith, and when the sun starts to set until it has fully set.” [Sahih Muslim Vol.2 Chapter 292 Hadith No.1811]

Narrated Abu Said Al Khudri: I heard Allah's Messenger (pbuh) saying, "There is no prayer after fajr prayer till the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the Asr prayer till the sun sets." [Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol.1 Hadith No.586]

Thus under normal circumstances, a Muslim should not offer Salaah after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises or after the asr prayer until the sun sets, unless there is a valid reason and requirement. For example, if after having offered his asr salaah a person enters a mosque before sunset, he can offer two raka’ahs Tahiyyat al-masjid (prayer after entering mosque) before sitting which is a recommended Sunnah.

Similarly, if a person does Tawaaf of the Ka’bah after offering Fajr salaah and before sunrise, he can offer two raka’ahs Salaatal-Tawaaf (prayer done after circumambulating the Ka’bah).

Therefore a believer should not offer his missed sunnah prayer after fajar prayer & before sunrise. And Allah alone knows the best.

Is it allowed in Islam to keep little children in queues(lines) in prayer along with young and old ones?

Answer:

Fiqh-us-Sunnah [1:116 ] Abdullah ibn Ghanam related that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (r.a.) gathered together the people of his tribe saying, " O Tribe of Ash'ari, gather together, and gather your women and children to teach them how the Messenger of Allah (saws) prayed with us in Madinah." They all gathered to watch him perform ablution. After it, he waited until the sun had just passed the meridian and there was some shade, and then he made the adhan. He put the men in the row closest to him, the children in a row behind the men, and the women in a row behind the children.

Thus from the above guidance of prophet Mohammad(pbuh), the men formed the rows immediately behind the imam leading the prayer; then the rows of children (below the age of puberty) were formed after the rows of men; and then the rows of women after the children.

The prayer in congregation is not obligatory for children until they reach the age of puberty, it would be prudent for parents to encourage their children to attend the congregational prayers along with them, so that this blissful habit may be formed in their children from an early age. If there is an arrangement for the separate row of children’s then it would be preferable for the parents to convince their children’s (with love) to join the children row, so that elder believers may not get disturbed while praying.

However, if there is no separate row for children’s, then there is no harm if the parents keep their children’s along with them in the adult row. And Allah alone knows the best.

Is Mani or semen impure (najis)?

Sir I heard from a friend that mani is not impure, I got surprised , if the mani is on the garments we need not to wash it, & we can pray in that garment, I want your openion on it, & plz quote the references also, thank you?

Answer:

There is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars regarding the ‘mani’ or semen being ‘najis’ and impure; although some scholars consider semen as impure as urine, the majority of the scholars are of the opinion that semen is not impure like urine, and one needs to wash the clothes only if and when the semen is wet; but if the semen has completely dried, one need not wash the clothes, the scraping of the dried semen from the clothes would suffice and one could make themselves available for prayers in those garments.

Narrated by Aisha Abdullah ibn Shihab al-Khawlani reported: ‘I stayed in the house of Aisha (r.a.) and had a wet dream (and perceived its effect on my garment), so (in the morning) I dipped both (the clothes) in water. This (act of mine) was watched by a maid-servant of Aisha (r.a.) and she informed her. She (Aisha (r.a.)) sent me a message: ‘What prompted you to act like this with your clothes?’ He (the narrator) said: ‘I told that I saw in a dream what a sleeper sees.’ She said: ‘Did you find (wet fluid) on your clothes?’ I said: ‘No’. She said: ‘Had you found anything you should have washed it. In case I found that (semen) on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (saws) dried up, I scraped it off with my nails.’ SAHIH MUSLIM [Book 2 : Hadith 572]

Said Aishah (r.a.), "I used to scratch the semen off the Messenger of Allah's (saws) clothes if it was dry, and wash it off if it was still wet." Related by ad-Daraqutni, Abu 'Awanah and al-Bazzar.

Narrated by Aisha When I saw (dried) semen on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (saws), I simply scraped it off, and he (saws) offered prayer while wearing those garments. Sahih Muslim [Hadith 566]

Al-Aawad and Hammam reported A'isha as saying: I used to scrape off the (drop of) semen from the garment of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). SAHIH MUSLIM [book 2: hadith 567]

Thus from the above guidance of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), it is clear that a garment does not become impure, if one finds dried semen on it. if for any reason one does not wish to wash it, the mere scraping off of the dried semen from the garment would be sufficient; and it would be permissible for one to offer their prayers in those garments. How ever if the semen is wet on the clothes then one need to wash that semen from the clothes in order to make those clothes clean. And Allah alone knows the best.

How to perform tyammum & what type of soil to use for it?

Answer:

Allah says in the quran: O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that ye may be grateful.QURAN [5:6]

Thus if a believer does not find the water then he can do a tyammum. First, one must have the intention. Then, he mentions Allah's name, strikes the soil with his hands, and wipes his face and his hands up to the wrist.

Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abza: A man came to 'Umar bin Al-Khattab and said, "I became Junub but no water was available." 'Ammar bin Yasir said to 'Umar, "Do you remember that you and I (became Junub while both of us) were together on a journey and you didn't pray but I rolled myself on the ground and prayed? I informed the Prophet about it and he said, 'It would have been sufficient for you to do like this.' The Prophet then stroked lightly the earth with his hands and then blew off the dust and passed his hands over his face and hands." SAHIH AL-BUKHARI[Book 7 :: Volume 1 :: Hadith 334]

This hadith shows that one strike of the earth is sufficient, and one only wipes the arms to the wrists. It is from the Sunnah that one who makes tyammum with dirt should blow into his hands first and not make his face dusty or dirty.

The soil used for tyammum: It must be pure soil: this can be sand, stone, gypsum, and so on. And Allah alone knows the best.
